Ingredients
  • 200 gram Butter
  • 200 gram Brown sugar
  • 4 unit Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon Almond extract
  • 250 gram All-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 50 gram Sliced almonds
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs, one at a time, then stir in the vanilla and almond extracts.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture, alternating with the milk. Mix until just blended.
  4. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle sliced almonds over the batter.
  5. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan and cool completely on a wire rack.
  6. Slice and serve.
