  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the semolina, sugar, shredded coconut, melted butter, milk, baking powder, and vanilla extract until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture into the greased baking dish and spread it evenly.
  4. Decorate the top with almonds.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  6. While the cake is baking, prepare the syrup by combining the syrup, water, lemon juice, and orange blossom water in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
  7. Once the cake is baked, remove it from the oven and pour the hot syrup over it.
  8. Let the cake rest for at least 1 hour to absorb the syrup.
