Ingredients
  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 medium Onion
  • 2 medium Carrots
  • 1 cup Frozen peas
  • 1 cup Beef broth
  • 2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Thyme
  • 1 teaspoon Rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 4 cup Mashed potatoes
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 1 cup Milk
Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the onion, carrots, peas, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, tomato paste, garlic, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well to combine.
  4. Simmer the mixture for 10 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender.
  5. Meanwhile, prepare the mashed potatoes by boiling the potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with butter and milk.
  6. Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish and spread the mashed potatoes evenly over the top.
  7. Bake for 30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the filling is bubbling.
  8. Let the shepherd's pie rest for 10 minutes before serving.
