Shepard’s Pie is traditionally made with lamb, but the use of ground beef is also popular in some regions.

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.

Add chopped onion, sliced carrots, frozen peas, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well and simmer for 10 minutes.

In the meantime, peel and boil the potatoes until tender. Drain and mash with butter, milk, salt, and black pepper.

Transfer the beef mixture to a baking dish. Spread the mashed potatoes evenly on top.

Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until the potatoes are golden brown.

Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
